Citation styles

Citation styles define how citations or references are organized and formatted within a paper.  This guide will go through the specifics of  Modern Language Association (MLA) Format - used in literature, arts, humanities, and some other disciplines.

If you are not sure if this is what your professor wants you to use, ask them "which citation style do you prefer I use?" 


The following video uses all caps for its graphics.  Make sure you are only using first letter capitals when creating MLA 9 citations.
