Library Catalog
- Reserves
Your Instructor may have items that
s/he wants the entire class to view. If so, your instructor
has placed these items on "Reserve." This
means that the library holds these items for your instructor
and you are allowed to view them by coming into the
library and checking the items out. You must have your
library card with you, and you have to abide by the
loan rules that your instructor has placed on each
item. Your instructor has told the library how long
you may use the item, and whether or not the item can
be taken out of the library.
You can look in the LAMP Online Catalog
to see whether or not the item is currently in use,
or if it is available. You will also find the call
number for the item, which you will need to give to
the staff member at the Circulation Desk so s/he can
find the item for you. The LAMP Online Catalog will
also indicate whether you can take the item out of
the library, and how long you may use the item.
For more information, see the section
in LAMP - The
Reserves Collection.
You can locate Reserve materials either
by your Instructor's Last Name, or by the 3 letter
code and number assigned to your course, as found in
the schedule. |
